1 Woman Critical, 3 Others Injured as Car Plows Bus STOP

Van Nuys – A 25 year old woman was dragged several feet across the pavement and bushes by a car that crashed into a bus stop in Van Nuys, Los Angeles.

According to Sgt. Cameron Dunnet of the LAPD’s Valley Traffic division, the accident occurred after 4:30 p.m. where residents and witnesses along West Vanowen Street and Tyron Avenue rushed to the scene to help the victim.

They were able to lift the car, pull out the woman from under it and revive her.

The woman was later taken to Valley Presbyterian Hospital. The victim’s condition is unknown at the moment.

The driver of the four-door Infinity Sedan that crashed into the bus stop was also brought to a hospital. His condition is not clear as well.

Dunnet told the media that the reason why the driver lost control was also unclear.

Devin Gales of the Los Angeles Fire Department also told the media that 3 other women sustained minor injuries during the accident.
