CAR ACCIDENT: 2-year-old Child in Critical Condition after LA Roll Over Crash

Los Angeles- A toddler was listed in critical condition as six other passengers were injured after a car roll over accident in Mid City LA on Sunday at 11:20 a.m.

According to Los Angeles police reports, the driver was trying to get off the Santa Monica Freeway when the car crashed onto another vehicle. The car overturned near Fairfax Avenue and Washington Boulevard and caught fire.

The two-year-old child suffered life-threatening injuries while the other six passengers sustained serious injuries. Paramedics arrived and transported them to a local hospital, reports said.

Police officers commented that the toddler was not properly secured in the car seat and was ejected from the car.

The other vehicle driver suffered minor injuries and was treated at the accident scene. Authorities are still investigating the details on the cause of accident.
