54- Year-Old San Francisco Woman Killed in Pedestrian Accident

San Francisco – Authorities are investigating a pedestrian accident that killed a 54-year-old woman in an intersection in the southwestern part of the city.

According to police, Feng Lian Zhu of San Francisco was walking in a crosswalk at Forest View Drive when she was struck by a Toyota Corolla from the westbound lane on Sloat Boulevard.

She was brought to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The 68-year-old driver of the Corolla stopped and answered questions for the police.

No arrests were made after the incident.

There was no traffic signal on the said intersection which crosses a six-lane roadway.
