Anaheim - Fire officials are currently investigating the cause of the fire and explosion that injured a man at a spa manufacturing plant in Anaheim, reports said.

Authorities said the unidentified injured victim had burns to his ear which investigators believed was the result of an explosion that was triggered by a chemical reaction.

Reports said more than 50 firefighters responded to the 30,000 square-foot plant at 1300 block of North Blue gum Street but by the time they arrive at the LA Spas site, the fire was already put out by the plant’s sprinkler system. The fire department also added that all employees have evacuated the area when they came.

The cost of property damage from the fire is still unknown.
