CAR ACCIDENT: BMW Left Hanging Over a Bridge, Mom and Two Children Survive

January 17, 2011

Buellton – A BMW carrying a mother and her two young daughters was left hanging at the side of a bridge after being rear ended by a gravel truck, reports said.

Rescuers were quick to act, saving the woman as well as her children aged 10 years old and 10-month-old baby only after an hour.

A forklift was used to continue holding the car while the family was being pulled away from the wreck.

The victims sustained serious injuries and were immediately rushed into a hospital.

According to authorities, after hitting the car, the gravel truck plunged into the railing then fell into the creek. The trucker died after the vehicle crashed and caught fire, reports said.
