Chemical Fumes Blamed for Death of Fullerton Paint Company Employee

Fullerton – California Division of Occupational Safety and Health (Cal OSHA) officials have announced that the cause of the fatal workplace accident at a paint company was chemical fumes leak, reports said.

According to the investigation of Cal OSHA, exposure to chemical fumes resulted into the death of one man at Vista Paint in Orangethorpe Avenue, Fullerton.

Reports said that the victim, on his mid-60s, was using paint stripper prior to the accident.

Another worker was taken to UCI Medical Center due to complications due to exposure to chemical fumes, reports added.
