Claims of Injured Slip and Fall Victim Resolved

LOS ANGELES – The claims for damages of an injured slip and fall victim was resolved after the insurer has agreed to settle its obligations with the victim. The claims arose from an accident that occurred at a Los Angeles apartment where the victim occupies a basement unit as a tenant.

According to the victim, she had just finished doing her laundry at the ground floor and was descending the stairways leading to her unit, when she suddenly slipped and fell a flight of stairs. The victim blamed the unlit stairway and defective design of the stairway as the possible causes of the accident. The victim’s pain caused by the injury persisted and because of this, she had to undergo numerous treatments.
