PRODUCT LIABILITY: Defective Helmet May Have Caused Woman Snowboarder’s Death

Wrightwood – The death of amateur woman snowboarder prompts further investigation as authorities found out that the victim was wearing helmet during the accident.

The victim, Angelique De Leon, a graduating student from UC Riverside, was killed when she fell from an elevated portion of the Mountain King ski resort in Wrightwood.

Reports said that De Leo was wearing helmet during the incident which is why her family and friends are wondering how she died.

Authorities are not inhibiting that defective product may have been one of the causes for De Leon’s death, reports said.
