PEDESTRIAN ACCIDENT: Driver Who Was Helping a Stranded Motorist in Burbank Fatally Struck by a Pontiac

Burbank – A driver of a Pontiac G6 has fatally hit a man who was helping another motorist change a tire in Burbank, the Los Angeles Times reported.

California Highway Patrol officials have said the victim who was identified as a 55-year-old man from Long Beach, was fatally struck by the Pontiac after changing a tire for another driver at the Ventura Freeway.

According to initial investigation, the Pontiac was running at about 65 miles per hour when it crashed to the victim.

Reports have said the Long Beach motorist was pronounced dead at the scene, and the other driver who had a flat tire was brought to a hospital for head injuries.

CHP officials have said the cause of the car crash is under investigation and the driver of the Pontiac was not arrested.
