HARASSMENT CLAIMS: EEOC Settles Harassment Lawsuit against Rafael Italian Restaurant

January 19, 2012

Winchester – A class of female teenagers were subjected to sexual harassment under the Rafael’s Italian Restaurant thus prompting the Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), to file a lawsuit and gain settlements amounting to $25,000.

Some of the mentioned acts, which were left ignored by the management even as late as 2005 according to EEOC, include crude comments, requests for sex and physical touching.

According to EEOC, there was an event where fellow male workers of the complainants used vegetables for the stimulation of sodomy.

All of the aforementioned acts violate Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 which is strictly implemented by the commission.
