CAR ACCIDENT: EX-Pro Wrestler’s Death in Car Crash, Not Caused by Injuries

July 1,2011

Tampa, Florida – The Pinellas-Pasco Medical Examiner’s Office has released autopsy results which suggest that Macho Man Randy Savage could have died from cardiac arrest and not from injuries in a car crash, a CBS report said.

The report quoted Director of Investigations William Pellan as saying that the crash has nothing to do with his death. “He just happened to be driving when he had a cardiovascular event”, the director added.

The ex-pro wrestler died on May 20th when his Jeep Wrangler suddenly crossed a median and crashed into a tree.

Although the autopsy report did not show evidence of a heart attack, Randy Savage had non-fatal injuries to cause an instant death in the accident. But the report showed that his arteries were 90 percent blocked.

The autopsy also found traces of alcohol and Vicodin but the examiner said neither his alcohol level nor the medicine in his blood may have caused the crash.
