CAR ACCIDENT: Elderly Motorist Survives Mountain Car Crash after Six Days of Eating Bugs and Leaves

Los Angeles –David Lavau, 67-year-old man, whose vehicle fell 200 feet down a mountain in Angeles National Forest, has survived as fire department personnel rescued him after six days of eating bugs and leaves and drinking water from creek,, reports said.

According to Los Angeles County Fire Department officials, Lavau together has been missing for six days when rescuers found him at the forest.

Initial investigation found out that Lavau’s car went plunged into the Angeles National Forest from Lake Hughes Road, north of Castaic, the Los Angeles Times reported.

Rescuers found Lavau and airlifted him to a hospital due to broken collarbone and bruises, officials have said.

According to reports, the California Highway Patrol officials are investigating the cause of the car accident.
