TRUCK ACCIDENT: Elderly Motorized Cart Driver Injured after Colliding with Pickup Truck

Fresno - A 58-year-old male motorized cart driver was injured after he collided with a pickup truck, said California Highway Patrol officers.

According to reports, the elderly 2000 Turf Club Car driver was traveling east along Butler Avenue when he suddenly went into the path of a GMC pickup truck that was moving south on Fowler Avenue.

The truck driver identified as Jesus Hernandez, 50, from Fresno, tried to avoid hitting the cart but failed to do so.

Reports said the cart driver was rushed to Community Regional Medical Center to be treated for his injuries. Meanwhile, the truck driver and his passenger identified as Maria Hernandez, 48, also from Fresno, did not sustain injuries in the collision.
