ROLLOVER ACCIDENT: Elderly Woman, 2 Children Injured in Rollover Accident Near Windsor

California- A 51-year-old female driver and her two grandchildren sustained injuries following a single rollover crash which occurred near Windsor, along southbound Highway 101, said reports.

According to California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers, the elderly woman identified as Dawn Rich, from Healdsburg, was driving a southbound Ford Expedition when she suddenly hit the freeway’s center divider, causing the vehicle to roll over numerous times.

The woman sustained major head injuries in the crash. Meanwhile, her 8-year-old grandson and 5-year-old granddaughter only suffered from minor injuries.

All of them were rushed to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital to receive immediate medical treatment for their injuries. Reports said the woman is in a critical condition.

According to authorities, both drugs and alcohol do not appear to be involved in the incident.
