EMPLOYMENT DISCRIMINATION: FCC Health Science Instructor Denies Presenting Religious Views in Classes

February 19, 2010

Fresno - A Fresno College City (FCC) Instructor has defended his position and refuted allegations that he presented his own religious opinion on abortion, global warming, and homosexuality as facts in his health science classes.

According to reports, this move was done after the school received a letter from the American Civil Liberties Union earlier in the month in which it was alleged that Bradley Lopez has been violating state laws that ban religious indoctrination in public schools.

The group stated that it made this complaint on behalf of at least two students of the school.

The instructor reportedly said that the teaching method he uses does not exceed the area of health and science. He further stated that this complaint is the first one that he has faced within in his 18-year teaching career.
