CAR ACCIDENT: Female Driver Killed, 4 Passengers Injured in Long Beach Car Crash

Long Beach-A female driver has died while four out of her five passengers suffered from injuries after a solo-car accident along Long Beach (710 Freeway), said reports.

According to California Highway Patrol (CHP), the 1993 Saturn sedan was moving northbound when the thread of the left rear tire separated, causing the vehicle to swerve of the road and roll over.

News reports said that the 38-year-old driver was not wearing seatbelt when the accident happened. She was ejected from the car through the windshield resulting in fatal injuries.

The car crash left four passengers, including a 37-year-old pregnant woman and a 6-year-old, with injuries, CHP said.
