April 19, 2010

Anaheim - An unidentified man driving a Ford Ranger has escaped from injuries in a rollover accident that was caused by another driver.

According to reports, the pickup was moving southbound along Rio Vista Street when the accident occurred.

The driver was in the middle of the intersection and about to make a left turn when the pickup was suddenly struck by a Dodge that was moving eastbound along Lincoln Avenue.

The impact caused the Ranger to rollover on its side, said reports.

Authorities said the Ford driver was trapped inside his pickup after the accident. He was rescued by firefighters who broke the vehicle’s front windshield.

Reports said the Dodge driver sustained injuries to his right wrist and hand while the Ford driver appeared to be uninjured.

No passengers were inside the two vehicles when the accident occurred, reports said.
