CAR ACCIDENT: Four killed after Driver Beats Red Light in Fontana

January 31, 2012

FONTANA --- Authorities have determined that beating the red light was the cause of Fontana car crash on Sunday that killed an 11-year-old boy and three others, reports said.

Sgt. Billy Green of the Fontana Police Department has said that a Chevrolet Suburban with three brothers as occupants riding was traveling on Baseline Avenue when it ran a red light, cutting off the running Honda sedan carrying a minor and his 40-year-old mom.

The 35-year-old man from Rancho Cucamonga and his 39-year-old brother from Bloomington were declared dead at the scene, while their 37-year-old brother from Fontana died at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center.

Noah Ferrer, 11, died during surgery at Loma Linda University Medical Center.

Green has said that they have found firearms and beer cans in the Suburban. However, they are not sure if alcohol was to blame but they are looking at the possibility.
