Grandma Injured by ATV driven by own Grandson

Dinuba – A 62-year-old woman was injured after being struck by an ATV (All Terrain Vehicle) that was driven by her own 12-year-old grandson.

The woman sustained cuts to the head after she was knocked down by the ATV.

She was brought to the Kaweah Delta Hospital in Visalia by responding firefighters from the Tulare County Fire Department.

According to a fire department official, the ATV accident occurred at about 10 am last Monday at 41789 Road 62.

There were no details on the accident except that the woman was knocked down after the ATV backed into her.

The grandmother could not remember how the whole incident happened and the boy could not give an accurate account as well.

The woman is expected to recover soon from the injuries.
