INDUSTRIAL ACCIDENT: 'Green Lantern' Worker Sues Warner Bros for On-set Accident

Los Angeles - A special effects worker for 'Green Lantern' film has filed a personal injury lawsuit against Warner Brothers Inc. on Wednesday.

According to reports, John Franco filed the suit at Los Angeles Superior Court, asserting that the film tycoon failed to correct hazard in the film set, resulting to his injuries.

Franco said he was working on a special effects equipment when it busted, causing him multiple injuries and losses. The accident occurred while filming a scene at Louisiana set in July 2010, reports said.

The lawsuit also listed Big Moose Llc, South Bay EFX Inc., and DC Comics as defendants. Franco also complained of sustaining emotional distress and loss consortium as a result of the accident.

The "Green Lantern' movie features Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, and is set to release this summer.
