PERSONAL INJURY LAW: LAX Flights Cancelled due to Bad Weather

Los Angeles – Several airline companies have canceled flights from the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to the Northeast after reports that the region was experiencing massive blizzard, LAX announced.

LAX spokesperson Harold Johnson said airline companies such as United, American, Delta, JetBlue and Virgin America have canceled their morning flights to New York, Philadelphia and Boston, which metropolitan areas with more than 20 inches of snowfall.

As this developed, John Wayne Airport in Orange County has also canceled flights to the Northeast due to similar reasons.

Bad weather such as blizzards and snow storms are considered as aviation hazards and could cause airline disasters like crashes due to poor visibility.

The regular flight schedule to Northeast will be announced soon, LAX said.
