AVIATION ACCIDENT: LAX’s Jet Way Collapses, American Airlines Pilot and Passenger Injured

Los Angeles – A pilot and a passenger of American Airlines flight 557 were injured when a jet way connecting the plane to the terminal collapsed at the Los Angeles International Airport, reports said.

According to authorities, the two injured were exiting the aircraft when the passenger loading bridge collapsed throwing them at least ten feet to the ground.

Los Angeles Fire Department officials say the pilot and passenger were brought to Daniel Freeman Memorial Hospital due to injured ankles, back, and necks.

Latest news reports said the cause of the airplane mishap is still unknown and still under investigation.
