May 28, 2010

San Francisco – The San Francisco Police is investigating if the man found dead in Haye’s Valley this morning was a victim of a hit-and-run accident.

According to police, the body of the unidentified victim was found in the median of Octavia Street, which is near the entrance to US Highway 101, at about 4:00am.

The victim was described to be a man in his 40s.

Police also found some vehicle parts and a skateboard near the area, but have not determined if those are connected to the accident.

The police investigation tied up the area and resulted in heavy traffic for about three hours.
