Los Angeles Windstorm Causes 4,400 Road Accidents, Drivers Cautioned

Los Angeles – Strong windstorm in Los Angeles County prompts California Highway Patrol officials to advise motorists to stay home for safety, reports said.

Although no fatal car accidents were recorded, CHP caution motorists to avoid driving amidst strong winds to avoid any accident.

News reports said that the storm resulted into damaged buildings and fallen trees. According to CHP, at least 4,400 minor traffic incidents were recorded due to strong winds in California.

Los Angeles Fire Department units are still the damages of the storm such as uprooted trees, damaged electrical wires and blown up transformers, latest reports noted.
