Mesriani Law Group Recovers $325,000.00 for Plaintiff in Racial Discrimination Case
LOS ANGELES - The superstar attorneys of Mesriani Law Group’s Employment Law Division have scored another big win for their clients, this time getting a settlement in the amount of $325,000.00 from a national chemical company on a claim for racial discrimination and harassment as well as whistleblowing claims.
The plaintiff, Mr. Wilcher, was an African American male who was a long time employee of the company. Mr. Wilcher clashed repeatedly with a supervisor who disliked Mr. Wilcher because of his race. As a result, Mr. Wilcher was the subject of disparate treatment, subjected to harassment and racial insults as well as being denied promotions and penalized with changed in work assignments.
Mr. Wilcher was also being subjected to harassment.
When the strain became unbearable, Mr. Wilcher came to Mesriani Law Group for help. Seeing how badly Mr, Wilcher had been treated, Mesriani Law Group began a claim against the chemical company for racial discrimination and harassment, as well as other claims.
