The firm is currently looking for a team member who is organized, persistent, detail oriented, with strong interpersonal and written communication skills. He/ she must be able to work efficiently on multiple tasks, prioritize and effectively manage their workload, work well under stress, regularly meet deadlines and perform other duties as required.
The paralegal staff is also expected to provide administrative assistance to attorneys on case management and various litigation matters. Other tasks would include setting up client calls and conference calls for attorneys; drafting correspondence; conducting factual and legal research using online services such as Westlaw or Lexis-Nexis; preparing court documents for filing, drafting and proofreading documents such as demand letters, briefs, discoveries; coordinating service of pleadings and filing with courts; copying, collating, and binding documents and exhibits, preparing table of contents; and maintaining electronic and paper case files.
