SKYDIVING ACCIDENT: Military Cadet Remains in Serious Condition after Parachuting Accident

Los Angeles - A military cadet has remained in serious condition after a skydiving accident in Lake Elsinore parachuting center.

According to reports, Henry Whitworth, 22 years old and another cadet for London University Officer Training Corps, underwent parachuting exercise. Whitworth and the other cadet's parachute went wrong and both crashed on land, sustaining critical injuries.

Rescuers arrived and transported the two people to a local hospital. Whitworth died of his injuries on Monday while the other cadet has remained in serious condition.

The Lake Elsinore skydiving center stated on its website that the facility complies with international standard. Its trainers have conducted parachuting exercises with the Royal Air Force, US Air Force, British army, Navy Seals, and the US Army.
