AVIATION ACCIDENT: Missing Plane’s Wreckage Found 60 Miles from Compton; 2 People Dead

San Bernardino – The missing twin-engine plane that was due in Rialto Airport was found this morning 60 about miles from Compton.

According to a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) spokesman, two people were found dead in the wreckage of the Cessna 340 which was found six miles northwest of the Rialto Airport at about 1:50 am today.

The plane left the Henderson Executive Airport last Monday and was due to arrive in Compton.

A family member of one of the people on board reported that the plane was overdue yesterday.

Authorities are also investigating why it took the family two days to report the incident.

The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the plane accident.

They are also waiting for the coroner’s office to identify the victims.
