Motorcyclist Dies after Being Run Over By Sedan

August 12, 2009

Westminster – The California Highway Patrol has reported that a motorcycle driver has died after getting run over by a car when he fell off his bike.

The bike was a 2006 Harley-Davidson and was registered to Jason R. Doerr, who is believed to be the victim of the fatal crash.

Doerr, who was on his way to work was reportedly seen splitting lanes and driving between established lanes of traffic before he clipped a silver Toyota Matrix. It caused him to fall in the number 4 lane where he got run over by a silver Buick sedan.

Although Doerr was still alive when he was trapped underneath the Buick, he died shortly after at the scene.

The accident caused the traffic to back up to Beach Boulevard that morning as several lanes were blocked while investigators remained on the scene.

Doerr, who is in his early 30s, was an avid motorcycle enthusiast who had worked in the motorcycle industry for about 12 years.
