MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT: New Year’s Day Highway 39 Motorycle Crash Victim Succumbs to Injuries

Loma Linda – The victim of a major single motorcycle accident crash last New Year’s Day died six days after the crash, the San Bernardino coroner’s office reported.

Herbert Snetsinger, 61, of Hesperia was pronounced dead yesterday at about 3:50 pm at Loma Linda University Medical Center, where he was airlifted after the accident.

According to the preliminary report of the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department, the crash occurred last January 1 at around 9:58 am after Snetsinger lost control of his motorcycle while traveling north along Highway 39, near Shadow Mountain Road in Adelanto.

Snetsinger sustained critical injuries after being thrown off his motorcycle.

He was then transported to the medical center through a helicopter.

The reason why Snetsinger lost control of his motorcycle is still unclear.
