TRUCK ACCIDENT: Pickup driver flees after a wrong-way crash in Highway 94

San Diego – A driver was slightly injured early Monday after his car was hit by a pickup truck traveling on the wrong direction in San Diego, the California Highway Patrol said.

The driver of a Dodge Ram pickup fled the accident scene after he smashed his pickup truck to a Chrysler Sebring Convertible at around 1:30 am. According to reports, the pickup was traveling on Euclid Avenue when it drove down an embankment towards the eastbound lanes of Highway 94.

The Dodge Ram collided head-on with the Chrysler, injuring its driver. The CHP said they did not find the truck driver when they responded at the scene.

Authorities are now searching for the unidentified pickup driver.
