ANIMAL ATTACK: Pitbull Held in Custody after Attacking and Injuring 4-Year-Old Girl

Pomona - An unvaccinated 3-year-old male Pitbull has been held in custody after it attacked a 4-year-old girl, leaving her with non-life threatening injuries.

According to reports, the accident occurred in an apartment along the 1600 block of East Kingsley Avenue.

Police said the attack may have happened when the girl suddenly startled her uncle’s dog.

She was brought to Loma Linda University Medical Center to undergo a reconstructive surgery after the dog bit her face.

Reports stated that the Pitbull has no recent rabies vaccinations and is unlicensed.
