EMPLOYMENT LAW: Ray Charles’ Granddaughter is New Accuser of Sexual Harassment against Steven Seagal

April 21, 2010

Los Angeles – One of the two new accusers of sexual harassment against Steven Seagal has been identified as Blair Robinson, granddaughter of music legend Ray Charles.

Robinson has given a sworn declaration in support of Kayden Nguyen’s lawsuit against the action star.

Nguyen has filed a lawsuit against Seagal for alleged sexual harassment, sexual assault and female trafficking.

According to Robinson’s declaration, she first met Seagal at Ray Charles’ funeral last 2004.

Robinson, along with his father, was then invited by Seagal to his home after the funeral to discuss a job opportunity.

Robinson claims that she took the personal assistant job and flew to Memphis, TN to report for work about a month after the interview.

She met with other co-workers in a hotel where they would be based.

On her first day, Robinson claims that Seagal went to her room after meeting with his staff and started to discuss the art of Japanese massage, which he explained, was going to be part of her job.

She became more uncomfortable as Seagal proceeded to demonstrate the massage on her arms and shoulders.

Robinson said that she asked Segal to leave the room and she called her mother, who quickly booked her to a flight back in Los Angeles, CA.

She did not return to work after the incident.

Seagal’s lawyer’s denied the accusations and said that Seagal has no knowledge of either Blair or the other woman who provided declarations.
