BICYCLE ACCIDENT: Seinfeld actor Jason Alexander hits 14-year old cyclist

April 27, 2010

Los Angeles - Former Seinfeld actor, Jason Alexander has struck a young student in the Hancock Park area on Tuesday at 7:15 a.m.

The Hollywood actor's car collided with an oncoming bicycle near the intersection of Wilshire Boulevard and June Street, police said.

The boy fell off his bike and suffered minor injuries. Paramedics arrived shortly, but the boy's parents decided to drive him to a nearby hospital themselves, reports said.

The cyclist was on his way to school when the accident happened. Los Angeles Police officers are still investigating the incident. Alexander was not given a citation.

"Jason stayed with the cyclist until the paramedics and police arrived and all indications are that the injury was minor," Ron Hoffman, Alexander's representative explained.

Alexander played the role of “George Costanza”, a neurotic neighbor, in Seinfeld sitcom series.
