Background
Ms. Droubi received her undergraduate education at the University of California at San Diego, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and a minor in Biology in 1996.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Droubi lived in Japan for two years working as an English teacher for the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program, and traveled extensively throughout Southeast Asia and Europe. Ms. Droubi also worked as a litigation legal assistant for MCI, Inc. and the Washington D.C. office of Bryan Cave LLP.
Ms. Droubi attended the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law in Washington, D.C. As a law student, Ms. Droubi interned at the U.S.Court of Federal Claims for the Honorable Mary Ellen Coster Williams, and the American Civil Liberties Union where she worked on the reauthorization of the Patriot Act. Ms. Droubi also interned at a plaintiffs' employment and labor law firm.
In addition, Ms. Droubi was the President of the Arab-American Law Students Association and a member of the Moot Court Association. She competed in a number of moot court competitions, including representing her school at the National Telecommunications Moot Court Competition, and she received the Outstanding Appellant's Advocate Award in 2005 and the Dean's Award in 2006.
Ms. Droubi has appeared in both state and federal courts, and assisted clients in obtaining favorable resolutions to business and personal injury disputes through mediation and direct settlement negotiations.
Ms. Droubi is admitted to practice in all state courts of the State of California and the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
