AIRPLANE ACCIDENT: Three people die in Agua Dulce plane crash

Los Angeles - At least three people were killed after a Cirrus SR22 plane crashed on Agua Dulce on Thursday.

The plane, which was registered to a Calabasas corporation, lifted off from Van Nuys Airport and was reportedly heading to Parker, Arizona. It crashed one mile west of Agua Dulce Airport, reports said.

At least two people aboard the plane were pronounced dead, authorities are still verifying reports on another fatality at the accident scene.

Reports said that the aircraft descended at a steep angle and burst into flames upon crashing onto the three feet-mud. At least three horses were killed as the plane hit the corral in Agua Dulce area.

Agua Dulce was popular for the Vasquez Rocks that was featured in numerous Hollywood films such as the "Star Trek" and "Duel".
