PEDESTRIAN ACCIDENT: Toddler Fatally Hit by Car while in Roadway

Ventura - A two-year-old boy has been fatally hit by a car while he was in a roadway along Rosewood.

Reports stated that Luis Contreras, 31, was traveling west in the area when the accident occurred.

The toddler was taken to Community Memorial Hospital where he was announced dead after a short time.

According to reports, the driver did not seem to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol when he was interviewed by the police. Authorities are still trying to determine the cause of the fatal accident.
