TRUCK ACCIDENT: Truck Hits Five Parked Cars, Injures Three

June 7, 2011

Anaheim — A big-rig crash has injured three people after colliding with a Honda Ridgeline in a midday accident, reports said.

Sgt. Rick Martinez said that the semi was traveling west on Miraloma avenue when a Honda Ridgeline suddenly crashed onto it, causing the truck to lose control and hit five parked cars in the intersection.

He also said that the Ridgeline ran on a red light, causing the accident. The damaged vehicles include a Toyota Yaris, Toyota Camry, a Volkswagen Passat, a Ford Van, and a GMC Envoy.

Both the drivers of the Ridgeline and the Truck are severely injured and were immediately taken to different hospitals. The third man, meanwhile, sustained only minor injuries and was also taken to another hospital.
