TRUCK ACCIDENT: Truck Hits LAX Sprinkler, Causes Delay to Motorists

November 30,2011

Los Angeles – Traffic along Los Angeles International Airport was put into halt when a dump truck crashed into a fire sprinkler inside the airport, reports said.

The truck accident caused delay to motorists travelling through LAX when the water from the damaged sprinkler made the roadways impassable.

According to reports, the truck hit the sprinkler Wednesday morning at the bridge between terminals 5 and 6.

A spokesman for LAX have said that the damaged sprinkler was shut off 30 minutes after the incident. The traffic resumed after the fix, reports said.
