Two People Injured after Car Slams into School Bus

Fresno - Two injured people were hospitalized due to a traffic accident involving a car and a school bus.

According to witnesses, a Pontiac compact was traveling southbound along Brawley Avenue when it crashed into a school bus that was moving eastbound along Shaw Avenue.

The Pontiac driver and passenger were pinned in the vehicle and were rescued by firefighters who needed to cut off a door to pull them out. Information on the extent of the injuries that the two sustained was not instantly available.

Meanwhile, no students were inside the bus when the incident occurred and the driver was not brought to a hospital.

Authorities at the accident area conducted interviews in an effort to establish who was at fault in the accident.
