PERSONAL INJURY LAW: Worker Sues Lindsay Lohan for Alleged Injuries

August 1, 2011

Palm Dessert– Former Betty Ford Center technician Dawn Bradley has filed charges against Hollywood star Lindsay Lohan over an alleged injury committed by the actress during her stay at the center last year.

The lawsuit, which was filed by Bradley’s lawyer, alleged that the former technician was seriously injured in the wrist during an altercation with Lohan at the rehabilitation center on December 12 last year.

The incident occurred when Bradley was allegedly trying to give Lohan a breathalyzer test as the actress was suspected of sneaking out at night to drink with her roommates. Bradley was later diagnosed with de Quervain’s syndrome, an inflammation of the tendon connected to her thumb. She underwent surgery last week.

Bradley was also seeking no less than $1 million in damages for assault and battery charges. No court date yet has been set for the hearing.

No charges have been filed yet by the Riverside District Attorney’s Office for lack of sufficient evidence.
