Attorney General Xavier Becerra announced that the State of California will face\u00a0 the Trump administration for their recent decision that does not allow foreign students to take online-only courses in the US Fall semester. Becerra stated that this policy makes the universities a hotspot of the disease and the policy itself is unlawful.<\/p>\n

According to the Homeland Security Deputy Secretary Ken Cuccinelli, \u201cIf a school isn\u2019t going to open or if they\u2019re going to be 100% online, then we wouldn\u2019t exact people to be here for that.\u201d<\/p>\n

The University of Southern California posted a statement that they are working to offer in-person classes for their foreign students so they can maintain their visa. Other schools across the state have also expressed similar concerns.<\/p>\n

The lawsuit is to be filed in the Northern District of California.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
