A semi-truck loaded with sand overturned and spilled its payload closing all westbound lanes.<\/p>\n<p>The closure of the lanes caused miles-long traffic as the morning commute continued. It is still unclear when the other lanes would be opened due to the leftover sandpile from the accident.<\/p>\n<p>One unidentified person was reported dead at the scene, and the cause of the accident is still under investigation.<\/p>\n<p>Traffic accidents happen on a daily basis and factors as to why it happens are countless, from inadequate road conditions, unpredictable weather conditions, car breakdowns, and reckless pedestrians.
