2 Killed in 57-Freeway Crash in Pomona

An SUV crashed into a parked big rig on the 57 Freeway in Pomona. The crash happened at around 3:30 in the morning of November 3rd. the SUV was heading south out of Pomona into Diamond Bar.

Footages from Sky5’s aerial video show part of the red SUV stuck under the back of the truck which was parked on the right shoulder of the freeway. All but one of the southbound lanes were closed for several hours after the crash.

The California Highway Patrol officers confirmed that two people were killed in the crash. No other information was released about the victims or if there were other injured passengers.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
