A white Lexus crashed into another vehicle on the 101 Freeway Friday morning. The victim stopped a police officer who was also on the freeway and tried to stop the driver. The Lexus’s driver fled the scene and drove towards the Westlake area of Los Angeles.

Along Temple Street, the driver of the Lexus lost control of his vehicle after hitting a dip on the road and crashed into another vehicle. The driver was partially ejected out of the vehicle as it rolled over and caught fire.

The driver was pulled out of the vehicle by the Fire Department and taken to a nearby hospital, where he eventually died from severe injuries.
