The Orange Fire Department reported that a fire erupted just before 12:45 p.m. at Earlham street, 200 Block located near South Esplanade street and East Chapman Avenue.

Downed power lines resulted in a fire car and the flames began to spread fast to at least two homes in the area. The Orange FD crew were up against 90-degree heat and low humidity making it difficult to extinguish the fire.
